COMPLETING THE ONLINE SUBMISSION FORM:
Please visit the link at the top or bottom of this page to access the electronic Conference Proposal Form. When completing the Conference Proposal Form, follow these guidelines:
- Proposed Title of Session: Please provide the entire title. (Remember, a shorter title is more effective.) Please ensure that the session title accurately reflects the content of the proposed session.
- Summary Description of Proposed Session (not to exceed 75 words) and Biographical Statements (not to exceed 100 words each):
Please send the description of the session via e-mail to kirish@cael.org. The description should provide complete information as to the 1) content, 2) format (experiential interactive formats are encouraged for workshops) and 3) learning outcomes. If selected, the description of your session will be used for publication in the conference program. This is how participants decide which session to attend; make your abstract interesting and accurate.
- Biographical Statement(s) (not to exceed 100 words each): Please send biographical statements for all presenters via e-mail to kirish@cael.org.
- Preferred Format: Please indicate whether you prefer to present a) workshop (1-1/4 hours, in a separate room for approximately 50 attendees, offered concurrently with five other workshops, audio/visual support available; multiple presenters encouraged) or b) a roundtable session (45 minutes, informal, interactive, presentations: this format, with multiple sessions in the same room, gives attendees and presenters the opportunity to share and examine problems, issues, and solutions in a casual, direct, one-on-one environment.) If you have no preference, CAEL will determine the format we believe best fits the overall conference design.
- Preferred Track: Please indicate the track by which your presentation is best categorized.
- Information on Person Submitting Proposal: Please provide complete contact information for the person submitting the proposal and for any additional presenters.
