EdLink Launched as Nation’s Largest Provider of Tuition Services

As many of you already know, on September 2nd EdLink LLC was launched jointly by CAEL and ACT to provide the tuition assistance management services previously administered by CAEL. As the nation’s largest provider of tuition assistance management services, EdLink builds on the combined strength of CAEL and ACT. John Zappa, formerly CAEL’s senior vice president for learner services, became EdLink’s CEO. John recently shared with us his perspectives on the opportunities and challenges facing the new company, as well as current trends and changes in the marketplace. Benchmarking Your Program: Enrollment Trends EdLink considers data tracking, analysis and reporting to be essential to the delivery of quality and efficient service in tuition program administration. As part of that ongoing effort, we evaluated enrollment trends for the past year. These interesting findings can be found here. Tuition Assistance Management Service TAMS EnhancementsEdLink is pleased to announce a major enhancement to our TAMS application -- a Client Administrator Interface that will give clients the convenient option to access information directly about their program usage. We anticipate that many clients will find it an exciting and helpful addition to EdLink’s program features. The Client Administrator Interface will be rolled out to clients in the next few months. In addition, EdLink has added a number of additional automated process reminders to enhance ease-of-use for employees using TAMS, and program participants now have the option to give us their feedback about our system by completing a brief survey available on the TAMS website. |

New FPN Members: Grand Canyon University (GCU) is a traditional, regionally accredited, private Christian university offering a unique model for higher education - an institution that marries the best of a traditional campus environment with the quality attributes of an online degree program. GCU offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs through the Ken Blanchard College of Business, College of Education, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and College of Liberal Arts.
