How We Help
At the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL), we believe that education is the key to success, no matter what your age. Without it, upward mobility and career stability become nearly impossible in our fast-moving world. We support adults of various backgrounds and circumstances in accessing the education they need to succeed.
College used to be primarily for 18-22 year olds—a stop on the way from high school to a career. But today, many people skip college and move directly into the workforce. When they return to school later, it can be challenging. Find out how CAEL makes adult education easier.
Military & Veterans
A large number of the nation’s young people are serving, or have served, in the military. As they return from their service, it can be tough for them to find career opportunities that excite and challenge them. Find out how CAEL helps them move forward in civilian life.
Low-income & Unemployed
Unemployment is high, and many people who are working are underemployed or not earning enough to sustain their families. Find out how CAEL helps low-income and unemployed people get the education and training they need to land jobs in growth industries.
As the retirement boom approaches, employers have more open positions that require higher levels of education. Well-educated employees will be best-positioned to fill these roles. Find out how CAEL improves employees’ access to much-needed education and training.
