Effective November 2008, CAEL offers three levels of membership:
Basic Membership
- Free subscription to the CAEL Forum and News, CAEL’s bi-monthly electronic journal
- Discounted registration for CAEL’s Annual International Conference, a professional development and networking opportunity that brings together faculty and academic administrators, adult learning specialists, human resources professionals, labor representatives and public policy makers
- Discounted registration for workshops in Prior Learning Assessment and advising adult learners, and online classes in Prior Learning Assessment certification
- Discounts on CAEL publications including books and research papers
- Direct access to ongoing research conducted by CAEL in adult learning, prior learning assessment, qualities of adult learning focused institutions, trends in tuition assistance practices, and more
- Discounts on CAEL’s consulting services
- Basic information about the New York Times Knowledge Network, an online networking and education tool specifically designed for institutions of higher education
Enhanced Membership
Includes everything in a Basic Membership plus:

Access to two webinars annually on a variety of adult learning topics
Premier Membership
