Higher education institutions interested in prior learning assessment (PLA) now have a reason to focus their energies into strategies that might promote the use of PLA. Last week, I helped present a webinar on a report called “Random Access”, which used institutional surveys, student and administrator interviews, and a dataset of 32,000 students from 10 institutions to take a look at the Latino experience with PLA.
