Known as the “pension crisis”, this dilemma has the potential to impact a multitude of the state’s most critical government-funded services and institutions, and perhaps turn Chicago into “the next Detroit.”

This week marks the tenth anniversary of the biggest blackout ever to hit North America – often referred to as the Northeast Blackout – occurring after an isolated power failure in northeastern Ohio spread eastward to seven other states and parts of Canada.
