The IL Pension Crisis: Another Barrier for Learners

In the past several months, many people around the nation have likely become familiar with the nearly $100 billion in pension debt currently facing the state of Illinois. Known as the “pension crisis”, this dilemma has the potential to impact a multitude of the state’s most critical government-funded services and institutions, and perhaps turn Chicago into “the next Detroit.”
