Director, Program Design
As director of program design at CAEL, Josh Klein is responsible for designing innovative program concepts that advance the missions of partners and funders by leveraging the full capacity of CAEL’s consulting capabilities. Klein joined the CAEL team in 2018 as Director of Consulting Projects, working alongside workforce and economic development organizations throughout the country to develop workforce/talent alignment strategies, map career pathways, and strengthen community and employer partnerships.
Prior to his time at CAEL, Klein served as the Project Manager at the Ozark Region Workforce Development Board in Springfield, Missouri, where he led implementation of the Department of Labor America’s Promise Grant and a variety of other innovative workforce development programs and initiatives.
Klein is a regular speaker at national and regional workforce development conferences, including the NAWB Forum and the NAWDP Annual Conference, where he has led presentations on a variety of workforce-related topics. He is a Missouri native and graduate of Missouri State University in Springfield, where he resides.
