Our Team

The CAEL team draws great strength from its varied set of backgrounds and skills. But we hold one very important quality in common: dedicated expertise in forging the connections between learning and work that adult learnersand their communitiesdepend on for social mobility and economic equity.

Le'Shay Guy

Director, Member Engagement

Le’Shay Guy joined CAEL in 2023. A culturally diverse educator and learner who is passionate about developing educated communities and programs in fast-paced work environments, Guy focuses on directing the work of CAEL’s SNAP Education & Training grant initiative, and she is instrumental in coordinating CAEL’s member benefits with growth strategy, development, and delivery.

Guy most recently served as director of student diversity, equity, & belonging initiatives at Lakeland University, where she also held additional positions, and she previously worked at Lakeshore Technical College. Guy has extensive experience in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP) Employment and Training as a W2 Case Manager/FEP at Forward Service Corporation in Sheboygan, WI. She is board director with the Girls & Boys Club, and she is active with 
Alpha Phi Sigma National Honor Society.

Guy holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology and a master’s degree in higher education and student affairs from Lakeland University. She earned her master’s in social justice and community organizing from Prescott College. Guy resides in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
