Sam Moon joined CAEL in early 2023. As operations coordinator, Moon provides administrative support to CAEL with primary responsibilities for oversight in accounting and contract administration tasks, as well as other administrative needs of the team.
Moon brings over 10 years of prior administrative experience to this role and has expertise in project management, real estate, and as a high school business educator. They concurrently serve as director of operations and human resources at Animal Outlook, a national nonprofit animal advocacy organization. A certified Scrum master, Moon has a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and holds a Program Management Certificate from Middlesex College.
Moon earned an MBA from Montclair State University, a bachelor’s degree in management from Northeastern University, and is working toward a Nonprofit Management Certificate from Brookdale Community College. A dedicated animal advocate, Moon and their wife reside in Hoboken, NJ.
