Senior Vice President, Impact, Marketing, and Communications
Shawn Hulsizer joined CAEL in 2007 as director of strategic customer solutions, and she has led the company in creating workforce development strategies and digital solutions focused on increasing awareness of the critical roles the energy, telecommunications, healthcare, childhood education, bio-science, advanced manufacturing, and petrochemical industries play within regional economies and ensuring job readiness within the talent pipelines that support them. Her prior roles with CAEL also include managing the continuum of product and service design, development, and post-launch evolution.
As senior vice president of impact, marketing, and communications, Hulsizer focuses on broadening CAEL’s impact with its partners and leads the organization’s thought leadership strategy to support the transformation of a new learning ecosystem -- one that can better prepare adults for the future of work. Hulsizer also oversees management of CAEL's branding, marketing, communications, and positioning strategies.
Prior to joining CAEL, Hulsizer held a variety of leadership roles that included merging operations across subsidiary companies within a private holding and acquisitions setting, business development, business analysis/planning, product development, and startup ventures. Her experience also includes association management and developing and implementing complex water stewardship programs for the state of Colorado.
Hulsizer has served on a variety of nonprofit boards, including the Flagship Help Center and Women’s Crisis Center, where she served as Vice Chair. She was a member of the Denver Chamber’s Impact Denver Leadership Program and currently volunteers with IMS Global’s Talent Continuum and the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts.
Hulsizer is a graduate of University of Nebraska at Lincoln and, in true adult learner fashion, is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership.
