Steve Price joined CAEL in July, 2022 as director of initiatives and is responsible for managing CAEL’s workforce & economic development projects that focus on using data to support competency/career map development and stakeholder engagements to maximize client impact for adult learners.
Price most recently served as an SAP System Facilitator/Trainer at Duke Energy, helping Duke Energy employees provide an improved customer experience. He provided exclusive support to Duke Energy learners during the training process and floor support to employees during the “Go Live” period with the company’s new system. Price previously worked at South University, where he managed and monitored the performance of the Admissions office as the Senior Director of Admission/Sales and was regularly responsible for developing strategic plans to meet KPIs and achieve annual growth targets. Price also has held positions at Virginia College, Charlotte School of Law, and University of Phoenix. A seasoned presenter, he brings to his role at CAEL an extensive background in training, performance, and platform management across the energy, postsecondary education, and government sectors.
Price holds a bachelor’s degree in performing arts from Oakland University and a master’s degree in management from University of Phoenix.
Areas of Expertise
Price has served in leadership, employee development, and building high functioning teams for nearly twenty years. His strengths are in personality management and skills training. As a communicator, Price is as comfortable in one-on-one settings as he is in front of a full auditorium.
