Join Us June 20 for CAEL’s Policy and Advocacy Agenda Webinar
For more than 42 years, CAEL has been a vocal advocate for nontraditional students everywhere. Working with colleges and universities, state and local governments, and other stakeholders, CAEL has lead the conversation on the creation and implementation of policies that support adult educational attainment.
But as readers know, the landscape of higher education is changing, bringing with it change to the current policy environment as well. With all this movement, it would be easy to get lost in the multitude of educational policies being proposed nationwide. That’s why CAEL will soon host an informative webinar on the state of CAEL’s 2017 policy and advocacy agenda.
Join CAEL’s Amy Sherman, Associate Vice President of Innovation and Policy, and Becky Klein-Collins, Associate Vice President of Research and Policy Development, on Tuesday, June 20 from 2-3 p.m. CST for the webinar Policy and Advocacy Agenda for 2017. Sherman and Klein-Collins will discuss policies that affect the adult learner and how CAEL is working to advocate for changes at the state and federal levels. They’ll also discuss CAEL’s current policy priorities and strategies for policy change, including CAEL’s recent launch of the National Adult Learner Coalition.
Best of all, the webinar is offered at no-cost to CAEL Members. For more information or to register for the webinar, click below.
