On April 24th, the White House hosted a national summit focused on the critical need to “upskill” America’s workforce. The summit brought together members of businesses large and small, labor unions, technology innovators, and educators who are leading the way in helping workers get the skills and education they need to get ahead in the job world.
The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) is a member of Upskill America and was among the distinguished participants who attended the White House Upskill Summit. CAEL is and committed to assisting employers to provide tools that motivate and inform employees of their career options and help them find an efficient and affordable path to earning the credentials or degrees they need to succeed
New data and other resources for employees and employers were also launched at the event, including a best practice resource for employers that want to do more to strengthen existing or jumpstart new employer upskilling initiatives: A GUIDE TO UPSKILLING AMERICA'S FRONTLINE WORKERS: A Handbook for Employers.
CAEL is a proud partner of the UpSkill America network, a national movement to build a skilled workforce and expand economic opportunity for America’s frontline workers. Learn more at: www.upskillamerica.org
