June Marks Member Appreciation Month at CAEL

April may be the cruelest month, but at least we didn’t have to wait long to reach the most appreciative one. CAEL’s annual Member Appreciation Month begins in June. Once again, every week of the month will feature exclusive events honoring the vital role members play in CAEL’s capacity to champion adult learners and workers. This year, highlights include:

• Member award presentations.
• Networking opportunities.
• New member perks and other surprises.
• “Flash” promotions.
• Thank-you videos and CAEL department hosts.
• Weekly webinars, including a military CPL workshop and keynote event featuring:
  • Chris Lowery, commissioner, Indiana Commission for Higher Education, and CAEL Advisory Council member.
  • David Polk, director of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, president of NASTAD (National Association of State and Territorial Apprenticeship Directors), and CAEL Advisory Council member.
