A $282,000 grant from the Texas Workforce Commission will bolster capacity at Houston Community College's Gulf Coast Region Apprenticeship Hub. The funding will help up to 550 apprentices enter pathways including plumbing, sheet metal, and electrical technician (HCC).

Gordon State College hosted the 2025 Student Veteran and Adult Learner Symposium, where faculty and staff, including a veterans affairs representative from Dalton State College, joined other community members to engage in events dedicated to enhancing support for military-connected and adult learners (GSC).

Glendale Community College is celebrating its 60th anniversary. The college, which has served more than 500,000 students, was hailed as a "pillar in our community" by the Glendale mayor (NW Valley Times).
The American College of Education has released its annual impact report, which includes highlights such as 86% of ACE students graduate with no debt (ACE).
