Diana Cannon

Executive Assistant

Diana Cannon joined CAEL in 2022. In her role as office manager/executive assistant, she supports CAEL’s executive vice president and chief operations officer as well as our executive leadership team members, and she fills an important role of supporting CAEL’s expanded work in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

Cannon most recently served as leasing agent for the NRP Group in Pittsburgh, where her dedication and focus resulted in her being awarded 'Leasing Consultant of the Month' nationally across 6,000 properties eight times during her tenure. Cannon also has held various roles across organizations where she expanded her skills, experience, and knowledge, including as assistant director of admissions at Education Management Corporation (EDMC), a former Pittsburgh-based operator of for-profit post-secondary educational institutions in the United States and Canada.

Cannon holds a bachelor’s degree in fashion marketing & management from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She also earned her bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation from Slippery Rock University.

Areas of Expertise

Cannon has extensive expertise in working with leadership teams and supporting management teams in both the private and nonprofit sector. She also is experienced in training and team leadership, cultivating local partnerships, relationship building and community outreach. Cannon thrives on providing thorough and skillful administrative support and is dedicated to improving the lives of adult learners.
