The CAEL team draws great strength from its varied set of backgrounds and skills. But we hold one very important quality in common: dedicated expertise in forging the connections between learning and work that adult learnersand their communitiesdepend on for social mobility and economic equity.

Diana Cannon

Executive Assistant

Diana Cannon has over 20+ years of experience working with leadership and supporting management teams in private and nonprofit sectors. She excels in training and team development, cultivating local partnerships, building relationships, and community outreach. 

Cannon joined CAEL in June 2022, where she supports CAEL’s Executive Vice President and executive leadership team members while overseeing the Pittsburgh office and expanding CAEL's work in the area. She thrives on providing thorough and skillful administrative support and is dedicated to improving the lives of adult learners.

Before CAEL, Cannon was a Leasing Consultant for the NRP Group in Pittsburgh. Her dedication and focus resulted in her being awarded 'Leasing Consultant of the Month' nationally across 6,000 properties eight times during her tenure. Cannon has additionally held leadership roles across organizations, including Assistant Director of Admissions at Education Management Corporation (EDMC), one of North America's largest providers of postsecondary education.

Cannon holds a bachelor’s degree in fashion marketing and management from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She also earned a bachelor’s in therapeutic recreation from Slippery Rock University.
