Meeting Adult Learners Where They Are: Leveraging Partnerships to Expand Access and Opportunity

 Sophia Learning and American College of Education lead this presentation on how they've leveraged their partnership to best support online, adult, and non-traditional learner. Meeting learners where they are at regardless of their educational journey — first-time college students, working parents, or folks coming back after decades out of school — ACE and Sophia leverage their partnership to create affordable and accessible learning pathways. By meeting students where they are at, we're able to close educational and opportunity gaps for adult learners. 

Presenters: Olivia Hoffman is a Partner Success Manager at Sophia Learning. She spent 7 years in higher education student supports, primarily working with adult- and non-traditional learners. Olivia comes with experience in credit for prior learning, learning assessment, and education technology. Based in Albany, New York, she has been with Sophia Learning for two years.
