In this can't-miss recording, you will learn key findings of a new COVID-19 research study and take away actionable steps for higher education institutions to better serve adult learners. A four-person panel of experts discussed the study’s methods, findings, and recommendations for implementation.

The robust study funded by the DeBruce foundation and conducted by UMKC’s Urban Education Research Center (UERC) and The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL), included 18 focus groups with faculty, administrators, and adult learners from 16 institutions of the Kansas City Scholars Postsecondary Network. Key recommendations from the study offer institutional leaders across the country not only immediate guidance but also will help postsecondary institutions improve future practices long after the pandemic subsides.
