How to Serve Adult Learners Effectively
Friday, January 15, 2016 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Central Time

How do you know where to go if you don’t know where you are? In order to map where you want to go you have to know your current location. Join Dr. Scott Campbell as he explains how the Adult Learning Focused Institutional (ALFI) survey toolkit can give you a snapshot in time on how well your institution is serving adult learners. The ALFI provides a framework of Nine Principles for Serving Adult Learners Effectively, allowing you to compare the perceptions and realities of your adult students to those within your institution. The resulting reports offer strategies to meet the identified challenges, methods for building on the strengths and opportunities to realign the two groups while helping you build your capacity to successfully serve adult students.
